The TME offer has just been expanded to include motor capacitors by DUCATI Energia. This Italian supplier is one of the major businesses based in the province of Bologna. The company shares its roots with the well-known motorbike brand and has been operating in its present form for nearly 40 years, since the merger of DUCATI Elettrotecnica and Zanussi Elettromeccanica. Nowadays, it specialises in the production of electronic components and devices designed with the energy and industrial automation sector in mind. It also manufactures wind turbines, electric vehicles and EV charging stations. All this expertise allows DUCATI Energia to deliver top-of-the-range products that comply with a wide range of international standards.

Motor capacitors help supply electric drivetrains with optimal power and thus achieve their rated performance. The solutions presented here are equipped with 6.3mm connectors for electrical connection and the FAST FIX mounting system. As the name suggests, the latter is a system for quick mounting of the components inside a pre-drilled opening (plate thickness: from 0.8 mm to 1.1 mm). That way, you can be sure that the component is protected from vibration and shock.

When it comes to electrical parameters, the capacitors are suitable for AC voltages of 400 V or 425 V (frequencies from 50 Hz to 60 Hz). You can choose from components with capacitances ranging from 1 µF to 15 µF (±5% tolerance). The products come from the 416.10 and 410.16 series, and their diameter ranges from 25 mm to 40 mm.
